How would you play it?
This dogleg left hole around an irrigation pond brings water into play, but it is the wind and slopes that provide the most consistent obstacles. Typically played directly into the trade winds, an overcooked attempt to cut the corner invites trouble with the pond. There is plenty of room down the right side, although a tee shot too far right leaves you on a hillside with an awkward stance for your second shot.
Despite the wind, you shouldn’t have much left for your second shot on this shortish hole. Come in from the right side to access the best angle into a narrow green with bunkers on both sides. The green slopes severely from back to front, making anything other than an uphill putt a true knee-knocker.
